The prop firm playbook
How to pass several prop firm evaluations at once with a trade copier
Trade one plan across several evaluation accounts: check the rules, size each account, set limits per account and know your way out.
Running several evaluations at once with a copier means one plan, traded once, on every account. It also means a bad day hits every account at once. Here is how to set it up so the good part outweighs the risk.
1. Check the rules first
- Copying: make sure your firm allows copying between your own evaluation accounts. See which prop firms allow a trade copier.
- Account limits: evaluations and funded accounts usually have separate caps. See how many prop firm accounts you can have.
2. Size each account for its own drawdown
Different account sizes have different drawdowns and contract limits. Give each one its own multiplier, or trade micros on the smaller ones. See mixing mini and micro contracts.
3. Put limits on every account
- A daily loss limit a little inside each firm's own limit.
- A daily profit target, if your firm has a consistency rule.
- A trades-per-day limit, so one bad session cannot spiral.
4. Test with one micro
Before the first real day, place one micro contract on the leader and check that every follower opens and closes it at the size you expect.
5. Decide what happens when one account passes
Accounts rarely pass on the same day. When one reaches its target, take it out of the group or turn it off so it stops trading, and keep the others going.
6. Know your way out
When the market turns against you, one click should close the whole group and confirm every account is flat.
Where Replica fits
Replica gives each account its own Daily Loss, Daily Profit and Trades Limit. With Enforce on, a breached daily limit closes that account and locks it until the 17:00 Chicago reset; Soft lock stops you from loosening the rules mid-session. You can turn one follower off without deleting it, and Flatten All closes the group. See risk rules and running many prop firm accounts.
