Futures trade copier for prop firms
Tradovate trade copier
Replica Copier copies futures trades from one Tradovate account to any number of follower accounts, on Tradovate or on another supported connection. NinjaTrader accounts that use the Tradovate sign-in connect the same way.
| Connection | Tradovate sign-in (OAuth) on Tradovate’s own page; NinjaTrader accounts use the same sign-in |
|---|---|
| Environments | Demo and Live (most prop firm accounts, funded ones included, are Demo) |
| Roles | Leader or follower |
| Take-profit / stop-loss on followers | One native Tradovate OCO bracket when the leader’s position has a bracket |
| Runs on | Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) app today, which must be open while you trade. Mac, phone and cloud versions are coming soon. |
| Price | Essentials: $50 a month, $135 every 3 months or $480 a year (USD), 3-day free trial, no per-account fees. Sign-ups are opening soon. |
Supported
- Leader and follower. Any Tradovate account can lead a copy group or follow one, at its own multiplier from ×0.1 to ×5.
- Every account under a login. One sign-in brings in every account under that Tradovate login; add more logins for other firms.
- NinjaTrader accounts. Choose NinjaTrader in Connections and sign in on the same Tradovate page.
- Your password stays with Tradovate. You sign in on Tradovate’s page; Replica never sees or stores the password, only the session Tradovate gives it.
- Native brackets. When the leader’s position carries a take-profit and a stop-loss, a Tradovate follower holds them as one OCO bracket at Tradovate: when one fills, Tradovate cancels the other. They are real broker orders and stay in place if Replica closes.
- Trades from any platform on the account. Replica copies fills on the Tradovate account, so trades you place from Tradovate, TradingView or another platform connected to that account are copied.
- Staying signed in. Replica keeps the Tradovate session renewed for up to 72 hours while the app is closed, so you do not sign in every day. Its server stores only the session, never your password, and never places orders.
- Per-account risk rules. Daily Loss, Daily Profit and Trades Limit per account, with optional Enforce, plus Flatten and Flatten All.
Not supported
- Market data inside Replica. Replica shows no quotes, charts or order book for Tradovate accounts. Open (Unreal) P&L is shown from Tradovate’s own account data and shows as unknown when no reliable figure is available.
- Copying working orders. A limit or stop entry that has not filled on the leader is not placed on followers; it is copied when it fills.
- Trailing stops and stop-limit exits. They are not copied to followers as a static order.
- A linked bracket after an entry that stays partly filled. If the leader’s bracket entry fills in parts, Replica waits up to 2 seconds for the rest and then places the linked pair. An entry still not complete after that (a limit resting partly filled) gets one stop, resized as the position grows, instead of the pair.
- A NinjaTrader platform add-on. Replica connects to the account, not to the NinjaTrader desktop program.
- MetaTrader 4 or 5, forex, crypto or stocks. Replica is for futures only.
- Mac, phone and cloud versions. Not yet: they are coming soon. Today Replica runs on Windows and copies only while the app is open.
- TradingView alerts or webhooks as a leader. Replica copies trades that fill on the leader account, not alerts.
How to set it up
- Install Replica on the Windows PC you trade from and sign in.
- Open Connections, choose Tradovate or NinjaTrader, and pick Demo or Live.
- Sign in on the Tradovate page that opens. Every account under that login appears in Replica.
- In Cockpit, create a copy group: one leader, your followers, and a multiplier for each.
- On the Risk page, set a daily loss limit on every follower, inside your firm’s own limit.
- Test with one micro contract, then trade the leader as you normally do.
