Tradeify’s copy trading rules
From Tradeify’s own pages, checked on October 29, 2026. Firms change these rules often: open the sources and confirm before you start.
- Your own accounts only. Tradeify’s agreement permits “the copying or mirroring of the Trader’s own trades across the Trader’s own Trader-Controlled Accounts … to the extent expressly allowed by the rules published at the Help Center”. Copying with any other person is strictly prohibited.
- Approved tools. The agreement says the trader “shall utilize only the trading platforms and tools explicitly sanctioned by the Company”, and its Help Center covers third-party trade copiers. Read both before you connect any copier.
- No opposite positions. Opposing positions in the same product or the same product group are a breach “regardless of the Trader’s intent”, including against a position in an account at another firm.
- Account limits. “The Company limits the maximum number of Simulated Funded Accounts that may be held by any single individual to five (5),” per person and per household.
- Devices. Tradeify’s terms prohibit a VPS, virtual machine or remote environment that stops Tradeify from reliably verifying your device.

What Replica does on Tradeify accounts
- Any of your Tradeify accounts can lead or follow, at its own multiplier from ×0.1 to ×5, rounded up to a whole contract.
- Mix firms in one group. A leader on one firm can copy into followers at other firms and on other connections.
- Fill-driven copying. Followers are sent their orders when the leader fills, so a cancelled leader order never leaves a stray order on a follower.
- A risk limit per account. Set Daily Loss, Daily Profit and Trades Limit on every account, inside the firm’s own limits, with optional Enforce.
- One-click exits. Flatten closes one account and Flatten All closes the whole group, on the first click.
- Unlimited accounts, no per-account fees. One price however many accounts you copy into.
What to watch
- Each account keeps its own limits. Copying does not merge accounts: every account has its own drawdown, daily loss and size limit at the firm.
- Fill prices can differ. Followers enter at market after the leader fills, so in fast markets their prices can differ from the leader’s.
- One copier per account. Turn off any other copier on the accounts Replica copies into; two copiers copy every trade twice.
- Same direction only. Copying into opposite positions across accounts is hedging, and firms ban it.
- MetaTrader 4 or 5, forex, crypto or stocks. Replica is for futures only.
- Mac, phone and cloud versions. Not yet: they are coming soon. Today Replica runs on Windows and copies only while the app is open.
- TradingView alerts or webhooks as a leader. Replica copies trades that fill on the leader account, not alerts.
How to set it up
- Check whether each Tradeify account is on Tradovate or Rithmic; it is set when you buy the account.
- Install Replica on the Windows PC you trade from and sign in.
- Open Connections: for Tradovate accounts choose Tradovate (or NinjaTrader) and sign in on Tradovate’s page; for Rithmic accounts choose Rithmic and enter the login and System Tradeify gives you.
- Turn off Tradovate’s own group trading or any other copier on those accounts.
- Create a copy group in Cockpit with your own accounts, all in the same direction, each with its multiplier.
- Set a daily loss limit on every account on the Risk page, inside Tradeify’s own limits, and test with one micro contract.
