How copying behaves
Test your setup before trading size
Four checks to run on one micro contract before you copy real size.
Try these on one micro contract with a small group:
- Place a limit on the leader away from the price, then cancel it. No follower should get an order.
- Enter with a take-profit and a stop-loss and let the entry fill in parts. Check the followers’ size and protection.
- With a position open, disconnect the computer from the internet for a few seconds, then reconnect. Check that no follower doubles up, and that each follower’s status says what it is waiting for.
- With Follower protection on, add one contract by hand on a follower, then close the leader. Every follower should end flat.
Check that your prop firm allows copying between your own accounts before you connect them.
