How copying behaves
How followers are sent
Each follower gets its own send; a slow broker holds up only its own account.
When the leader fills, Replica does not send to the whole group as one batch:
- Its own send. Each follower is checked and sent on its own, one right after another. Its order leaves as soon as its own record is saved, without waiting for the rest of the group.
- No waiting on brokers. Nobody waits for a broker’s answer before the next follower goes. The answers come back side by side, so a slow broker or a refused order holds up only its own account.
- Still copied once. Every follower’s copy is saved before it is sent, so sending in parallel never means sending twice.
Followers on the same broker login share that login’s connection and its request limits. See broker request limits and the picture on the Copier page.
