When something looks wrong
A follower order was refused
The broker received the order and said no. The reason is in the log.
When a broker refuses a copied order, Replica logs the broker’s reason on that account. The common ones:
| Reason | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Trading locked by the broker | The broker says the account cannot trade (closed, read-only, or locked by the firm). | Ask your firm. |
| Controlled by TopstepX Trade Copier | TopstepX’s own copier controls the account. | Turn TopstepX’s copier off on it. |
| Not the active contract (TopstepX) | The contract rolled; TopstepX accepts new entries only in the active month. | Trade the new month. See rollover. |
| Prevented by a risk rule | A contract cap, symbol lockout, trades limit or a lock stopped a new position before it was sent. | Check the account on the Risk page. |
| Skipped: no matching Micro or Mini | The follower is set to a contract size that does not exist for that market. | Change the follower’s contract choice. |
A refused entry is not retried blindly. Closing orders and Flatten keep working.
