What happens when Replica is closed
Copying stops; orders already at the broker stay.
When Replica is closed, or the computer running it sleeps or loses its connection:
- Nothing is copied. Trades on the leader while Replica is closed are not replayed later.
- Risk rules do not run. Enforce, daily limits and follower protection work only while the app is open. Your prop firm’s own limits still apply.
- Orders already at the broker stay. A follower’s take-profit and stop-loss are real broker orders, so they keep protecting the position.
When you open it again
Replica reads every account fresh from the broker. It does not send orders to fix a difference it finds: a follower that no longer matches the leader is held until the broker shows it flat with no working orders, then copying resumes by itself. Close leftover positions through the leader or with Flatten.
Close positions, or be flat, before you close Replica or install an update.
