Take-profit and stop-loss on followers
How the leader’s bracket is protected on each broker.
When the leader's entry carries a take-profit and a stop-loss:
- Tradovate and Rithmic followers hold the leader's take-profit and stop-loss as one native OCO bracket at the broker: when one fills, the other is cancelled.
- TopstepX followers get both with Auto OCO switched on for the group (and on the account in TopstepX). Otherwise they hold the stop only.
Where a linked bracket cannot be placed (for example when the leader's entry fills in parts), the follower holds at most one protective order, never two.
These are real broker orders, so they protect the follower even while Replica is closed.
Followers enter at market after the leader fills, so their prices can differ slightly from the leader's in fast markets. A leader's unfilled limit or stop entry is not placed on followers; it is copied when it fills.
