Lock trading and session lockouts
Lock yourself out now, or plan lockouts for the sessions you trade badly in.
Both live on the Guardrails page. During a lock Replica copies no new trades to the locked accounts and closes any position on them, also trades you place yourself on the broker’s platform. Closing a trade always works.
Lock trading
Step away for a while. Lock trading locks every account, starting now, for 1 hour, 4 hours, 8 hours or 1 day.
Session lockouts
Under Trading hours, plan a lockout before the session starts:
- Days: any of the next 10 trading days. A trading day starts at 17:00 Chicago time the evening before, so Monday’s Asia session starts Sunday evening.
- Sessions: Asia, London, NY AM, Midday, NY PM (fixed Chicago times), or the whole day.
- Accounts: all accounts, or the ones you pick.
It cannot be undone. Replica asks you once more before saving. After that the lock cannot be removed, not even by support. It ends by itself when the time, session or day is over.
