Connect your brokers
What a connection’s status means
Connected, Connecting, Reconnecting, Needs attention, Disconnected, Sign in needed.
Each connection on the Connections page shows one status, with the reason next to it when there is one.
| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Connected | Replica is signed in and receiving the account’s orders and fills. | Nothing. |
| Connecting | Replica is signing in. | Wait a few seconds. Cancel stops it. |
| Reconnecting | The connection dropped and Replica is restoring it by itself. | Wait. Copying to these accounts resumes when it is back. |
| Needs attention | The broker refused the connection. The reason is shown on the row. | Fix what the reason says (credentials, System name, agreements), then Reconnect. |
| Disconnected | The connection is off, or the broker ended the session (for example another session on a Rithmic login). | Select Reconnect when you are ready. |
| Sign in needed | Tradovate no longer accepts the saved session. | Select Sign in with Tradovate. |
Notes on an account
- Trading locked by the broker: the broker itself says the account cannot trade right now (for example a closed or read-only account). Replica cannot change that; ask your firm.
- Controlled by TopstepX Trade Copier: TopstepX’s own copier controls the account, so TopstepX refuses Replica’s orders on it. Turn TopstepX’s copier off on that account.
- Login also used elsewhere: another tool took over the TopstepX API session for that login. Use one API tool per login.
